Thanksgiving week!

Well everyone, its upon us! Thanksgiving week... Let the cooking and house cleaning begin!

I have to say that I am excited for Thanksgiving this year even though it is
just going to be my husband and I along with our two spoiled cats Stinky and Weenie.
I would love to be scrapping everything that goes on but I just wont have the time to do so given the fact that we are moving into a new home in mid December.
Now my dilemma is deciding on when to pack up my scrap studio... I work from home scrapbooking and making custom cards invites, mini-books etc and am unsure about how to do this.
I cant just up and pack up all my supplies during the busiest card and sales time of the year!?

However I am super interested in knowing what everyone else will be up to this Thanksgiving week? Please make this week all about your Thanksgiving crafts, cards, layouts and pictures as well as stories and even your favorite recipes to share with everyone!
As you all know I love comments they make me sooooo happy!
So leave lots with your crafty goodness and yummy recipes!

Here is some of my craftyness
A few of the cards that go into my "A year in cards" packs.

I am wicked excited to see what everyone will share and Happy Thanksgiving week!

  1. Your cards look great! I'm, of course, partial to the last one! And...as one that had my stuff packed up for several weeks due to moving...avoid it at all costs! It sucks! LOL!

  3. We are spending the week in Tahoe, CA watching the snowflakes fall. Here is one of my easy favorite recipes for this time of year.
    Pumpkin Cobbler

    3 eggs, beaten
    15 oz. can pumpkin
    12 oz. can evaporated milk
    1 cup sugar
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1 tablespoon vanilla extract
18 and 1/4 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 and 1/4 cup margarine, melted (I use butter)
    1 cup chopped nuts

Mix the first 8 ingredients together, pour into an ungreased 13 x 9 baking pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the top, drizzle with margarine. Bake at 350 for 25 min. top with nuts. Bake for another 15 min.
